It has made its debut into the dining district of Emerald Square, making its name as an iconic dining establishment in the heart of Burwood.

Welcome home. We recently partnered up with the talented @zac_ng on his latest project, Restaurant Ka. Named after the Chinese character “家” , the restaurant serves a refined version of home style cooking with a fusion of Cantonese and Japanese influences. To compliment the food, the design aimed to create a laid back and intimate atmosphere.

Hungry Paulie World Square

Hungry for more. We drew inspiration for Hungry Paulie from the Chinese character “呷” which symbolises the act of “sipping tea or soup”. Based on the Chinese character, we created grid form structures which is seen throughout the exterior and interior of the restaurant. The frames help to blend the outside shopfront to the inside of the restaurant.

Nailed it. Playful, natural and feminine, this is @tipsytoesbeauty in Haymarket. Designed to complement the fun loving name of the nail salon, we used tones of pink and comical puppy sculptures to throughout the shop to greet visitors with a warm and cheerful vibe.

Discover a piece of Hong Kong in Sydney. A play on the words “ 你好吧” in Chinese, neon lights and retro commercials form a large part of our design for Ni Hao Bar. Inspired by the bustling Hong Kong nightlife and entertainment scene in the golden era of the 1970s, the restaurant and bar was designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia and take customers on a trip down memory lane. The Nihao Bar brings the bustling Hong Kong nightlife and entertainment scene with its nostalgic charm to Civic Hotel in Sydney.

Where food meeds art. The concept of this casual eatery in Mascot is based on spicy Sichuan noodles and the Chinese character “碗”, which translates to the word bowl. Our design for WAN features warm earthy tones and a terracotta feature wall inspired by the iconic grilles of old Taiwanese homes. The carefully considered elements of the interior in conjunction with the lighting welcomes guests into a modern dining experience filled with mellow tunes and good vibes.
